Thanks for your interest in volunteering for the Clear Lake Flying Club. Volunteers make a huge difference in the quality and effectiveness of the services that we can provide to our community. Currently we are particularly in need of volunteers to help with the Clear Lake Flying Club at its next event, the Clear Lake Aviation Gathering, an aviation conference and seaplane fly out which takes place on April 22-23, 2023. The program for this conference is available at: Clear Lake Aviation Gathering Program A listing of the activities that we'd like to have volunteers help us with in the production of this conference is available at: We are particularly in need of volunteers who help with the following: Guest registration: Staffing the guest registration desk. Responsibilities include checking in attendees and providing them with their name tag, wrist bands and conference program, answering questions about the conference and selling raffle tickets. Conference photography and videography: Photography of the conference and a video of each presentation. Presentation Assistant: Helping each presenter be ready to go with his or her presentation as soon as the previous presenter is finished. Presentation Timer: Keeping the presentations on the conference program timetable, including providing time remaining cues to the presenter. Winery Tour Coordinator: Accompanying individuals on the tour of Lake County wineries. Photo Exhibit Display Set Up: Assemblying and hanging prints and labels. Favorite Photo Voting: Distributing ballets for favorite exhibit photos, collecting completed ballets, counting the votes and tabulate the results. Conference Debriefing: Distributing and collecing conference review forms.
